After successfully arriving in Manila, the businessman conducts his business while Kenway waits near the port. There, he catches up with a drunken John Young, who reveals that both the [[Dutch East India Company]] and the [[Far East Company]] have been looking for people to aid them in their expeditions in southeast Asia. However, Kenway pushes their focus to build up their reputation first. While sailing back to [[Macau]], Kenway and his crew catch sight of a pirate ship attacking a Dutch East India ship. With this opportunity, he orders his men and the captain to attack the pirate ship.
As they contemplate why no one is willing to give them work, Edward, John and Zhang are suddenly approached by a [[merchant]], who reveals that [[Madam Lee]], [[Master Sun]] and the [[Far East Company]] have blacklisted them, making it near impossible to receive any clients. The merchant then reveals himself as the owner of the ship Edward defended from pirates a while back. Grateful for his assistance, he asks the [[Assassins|Assassin]] if he would be willing to help him again, revealing that he needs someone to escort his ship to [[Manila]] and back for a business endeavor. Zhang enthusiastically accepts the job and Edward readies his crew to sail to the [[Philippines]].

Assassin's Creed: Forgotten Temple Episode 24 is the twenty-fourth episode of Redice Studio's webtoon Assassin's Creed: Forgotten Temple, a sequel to Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag. The webtoon, written by ARC and SHYATAN and with art by Tabii, was released on 3 October 2023.

Plot synopsis

Edward Kenway uses his money to build up both Zhang's village and the Zhang Wei Union in order to draw up more business and thus more money.
