Assassin's Creed: Forgotten Temple Episode 11

Assassin's Creed: Forgotten Temple Episode 11 is the eleventh episode of Redice Studio's webtoon Assassin's Creed: Forgotten Temple, a sequel to Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag. The webtoon, written by ARC and SHYATAN and with art by Tabii, was released on 4 July 2023.

Plot summary

Madam Lee and Edward Kenway are caught off-guard by an attack on the Mandarin's House by Shimazu clan ninja. Lee orders her guards to kill the intruders and they manage to gun down several of the ninja. One of the guards holds Edward at gunpoint to prevent him from running away, but the Assassin grabs his pistol and uses it to kill a ninja who was running towards Lee. Realizing they share a common enemy, Lee reluctantly allows Edward to help out. As three more ninja barge into the room, Edward shoots two of them and pushes the third one aside before making his way to the courtyard, where Lee's remaining guards and the ninja are fighting.

After spotting the ninja's masked leader on horseback, Edward goes to confront them. The two engage in a duel, with the masked person coming out on top after breaking Edward's sword, which forces him to pull back. Before the fight can resume, a ninja calls out for their leader and picks them up on horseback. The masked person then reveals their name – Shimazu Saito – and asks for Edward's in return. After the Assassin complies, Saito declares that they will remember Edward's name and retreats alongside their ninja.

As Edward expresses his belief they will meet again, he notices that he no longer has Hendrik's sea log and realizes Saito stole it during their duel. Although impressed, Edward reveals that he has not come away empty-handed either, as he managed to keep a document he had found inside the log earlier.
