Plot synopsis
After the Exitus arrives in Cebu, Noa Kim and Shimazu Sei prepare to trace Edward Kenway's footsteps. Near a statue of Lapu-Lapu, Noa is surprised to see the tour guide he met back in Macau, who identifies herself as Yuki and reveals she is an Abstergo agent and Sei's personal bodyguard. Noa then remarks that Sei is wearing body armor and questions why he was not given one as well, to which Yuki tells him that Abstergo's budget doesn't extend to protective gear for "guinea pigs".
Beginning their tour of Cebu, Noa and Sei head to the Basilica del Santo Niño and its Magellan's Cross Pavilion. The former uses his Eagle Vision inside the pavilion but claims he can not see anything useful, which Sei remarks may be because the cross is a replica and not the original one planted by Ferdinand Magellan. As the two leave the basilica and head to their next destination, they are secretly spied on by Doom Eagle, who prepare to begin their operation to rescue Noa.
While traveling through Cebu, the Abstergo convoy transporting Noa, Sei and Yuki is forced to change routes several times due to a number of incidents in traffic.
