Plot summary
Shimazu Saito tries to interrogate Edward Kenway to learn how to decode Hendrik's sea log, but the latter is unaware of what she is referring to and releases the candle from his hand. Saito catches it with her sword, allowing Edward to attack her and punch the mask off her face. Pinning Saito to a wall, Edward is surprised to discover that she is a woman, just as two of her ninja arrive to investigate the commotion.
Meanwhile, on the ship's deck, the Japanese ninja become furious at being used as cannon fodder and refuse to follow Saito's orders anymore.
