Assassin's Creed: Forgotten Temple Episode 67 is the sixty-seventh episode of Redice Studio's webtoon Assassin's Creed: Forgotten Temple, a sequel to Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag. The webtoon, written by ARC and NOHT and with art by Tabii, was released on 30 July 2024.
Plot synopsis
While John Young and Rupiya prepare to attack Rajah's fleet, the Visayan chief orders his men to march towards the Cebu harbor, leaving several warriors behind to delay the Spanish soldiers pursuing them. Meanwhile, inside the Basilica del Santo Niño, Edward Kenway tries to reason with Rajah's men, claiming that the crescent amulet's power will turn them into mindless thralls, but it is all for naught as the warriors attack him anyway. Shimazu Saito explains that they can not afford to let Rajah escape again and Edward reluctantly agrees, engaging the warriors.
Leaving the basilica upon killing Rajah's men, Edward and Saito find the city engulfed by chaos, as the Spanish soldiers affected by the amulet's powers are fighting each other in the streets. After making their way past the massacre, the pair take to the rooftops and Edward uses his Eagle Vision to find Rajah's tracks. He then devises a plan to have the Spanish Army help them defeat Rajah and has Saito serve as bait.
Saito, bearing facial marks that make her resemble one of Rajah's warriors, successfully gets a group of Spanish soldiers to chase her. She then returns to Edward and angrily confronts the Assassin for ruining her dignity, before the pair lure the pursuing soldiers to the harbor, where Rajah and his men are located. As the soldiers prepare to open fire on the resistance fighters, with Edward and Saito caught in the middle, the Fenghuang, captained by John and Rupiya, suddenly arrives and sinks Rajah's fleet, much to the Visayan chief's horror.

Behind the scenes
Saito calling Edward "the worst pirate [she's] heard of" and his response, "Ah, but you have heard of me!", are a reference to the 2003 film Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl, which features a similar exchange between Captain Jack Sparrow and a Royal Navy officer.
