Plunged into a [[Calculations|strange world]] by the [[Crescent amulet|amulet]]'s power, [[Edward Kenway|Edward]] experiences a vision of him walking in a room filled with tomes. One golden one hits his head and opens up into glimpses of [[Adam]] and [[Eve]] and pictures of past and future [[Assassins]]. While his head begins to ache, he soon finds a memory of [[Hendrik]] talking with the [[Mad monk|mad monk]] and how they hid a clue into a grand wooden cross. Soon, the tomes rise and begin to fly and impact him. In reality, Edward is paralyzed by the amulet while the monk elates at the static Edward. Readying to kill him, the mad monk is struck by a [[spear]] thrown by the [[Rajah|leader]] of the {{Wiki|Visayan}} resistance. | |||

Plot synopsis
