Assassin's Creed: Forgotten Temple Episode 19 is the nineteenth episode of Redice Studio's webtoon Assassin's Creed: Forgotten Temple, a sequel to Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag. The webtoon, written by ARC and SHYATAN and with art by Tabii, was released on 29 August 2023.
Plot summary
Edward Kenway follows the Japanese pirates to a temple, where they enter speaking Cantonese. Using his Eagle vision, he noticed the temple extremely well-guarded. Leaping above, he finds a weak point around the temple and spots two Japanese guards. Quickly, he dispatches and kills them and takes their attire to blend into the temple. Entering the temple, he finds his way past the other guards towards the middle of the square. There, he takes a guard's shift and begins to hear Master Sun speaking to Shimazu Saito. With the Far East Company's ships detained, Master Sun asks Saito's team to recover the goods by any means necessary.
Master Sun states he wants his Qing merchants to dominate the market and rid Macau of the foreign merchants once and for all. After agreeing, Saito orders his troops to move out for their attack at midnight while Edward blends into their team. Edward keeps a watchful eye as he confirms a rift between the Qing guards and the Japanese pirates. Meanwhile, Saito walks Master Sun out while one of his ninja asks if their task may prove harmful. Saito reminds it is an opportunity to purge the family's weak links.
At midnight, Saito and his ninja attack the Hongmao guards while Edward sneaks around and enters the ship alone. He finds himself in the gunpowder room and starts to empty them on the ship. With a candle in his hand, he almost drops it but only to be stopped by Saito. Holding a sword to his neck, Saito becomes angry upon recognize Kenway.
