The Walloper was a virtual representation of one of Eivor Varinsdottir's genetic memories, relived by Layla Hassan in 2020 through the Portable Animus HR-8.5.
Eivor came across two children bragging about their grandfather's fighting skills.
Eivor overhears two siblings talking and play-fighting with each other.
- Anglo-Saxon Child 1: Grandfather's wallop is like none other. All it takes is one.
- Anglo-Saxon Child 2: His fist is a glorious basher of fools, full of great big scars and old dried blood! One day I'm gonna be as strong as Grandfather! I'll wallop the heads off oxen!
- Anglo-Saxon Child 1: He uses his powerful wallop to protect us. O, his legend grows with every day!
Eivor meets the children within their conversation.
- Anglo-Saxon Child 1: O, such a fine wallop it is...
They turn to see Eivor.
- Eivor: Little ones, what is this wallop you speak of?
- Anglo-Saxon Child 1: It's our grandfather. And be careful unless you want a walloping.
- Eivor: I am certain my might could clove his wallop.
- Anglo-Saxon Child 2: Many cowards have said the same! He uses only one fist. One wallop. Boom! Like a wolf howling with its knuckles!
- Eivor: Well...this wallop has me curious.
- Anglo-Saxon Child 1: Ha! Good, destiny is coming to your plate. Grandfather, there's someone looking for a walloping!
Their grandfather walks towards them.
- The Walloper: Hello. Yes, I have overwhelmingly powerful strength, but it is not worth talking about.
- Eivor: If you are drengr, we should tell stories of battle, swill a cup of mead around a hearth, and share our wisdom.
- The Walloper: You want some wisdom? Don't become a hero like I have. I'm cursed with this wallop.
- Eivor: These children have me curious. Your calm demeanor even more so.
- The Walloper: I beg you. There is no need for this to go where I feel you think it should.
- Anglo-Saxon Child 1: You best depart unless you desire your face become a fist cave.
- The Walloper: Children, stop saying such things. I do not want to use it.
- Eivor wants to fight the Walloper.
- Eivor: I truly wish to see this wallop. I will break it with my humble fists.
- The Walloper: Ugh...Neither of us will enjoy this, I am afraid.
Eivor and the Walloper begin their fistfight.
- The Walloper: I'm tired. Don't say I didn't warn you. The disappointment you will feel, I also feel.
- Eivor: There you have it. As promised. Banal victory for me and my wallop. Still unbeaten. Why, God? Come back if you want an endless taste of my endless victory. I know I don't want you to. If you want the wallop, it will ruin your life. It has ruined many already.
Eivor talks to the Walloper again.
- Eivor: Hej. I have returned.
- The Walloper: I see. I suppose you want to see the wallop?
Eivor agrees to fight again.
- Eivor: Yes, it is time. I want to experience this wallop.
- The Walloper: This is a sad moment in time. Hold on to your teeth.
Eivor and the Walloper engage in another fistfight.
- The Walloper: And so goes my day.
- Eivor: Down you go.
- The Walloper: I have never been bested before. I am shocked! Stunned! I never thought it possible. You have thwarted my wallop. You may have access to the treasure my wallop has sadly gifted me over the years. Various awards for bashing skulls. I feel liberated of my legacy. Now I can live the normal life that has forever eluded me. Thank the heavens!
After beating the Walloper in the fight, Eivor enters his home and took the treasures.
- Eivor: The treasure he promised.
Before leaving, she finds and reads a will left by the Walloper.
The Death Charter of Werefirth the Walloper
- Greetings to Ealdorman Wigmund and the Nobles of the Shire,
I, Werefirth, do entitle my second of kin the deeds to all of my land. They inherit the land I have kept under God's domain here in Grantebridgescire.
This writ confirms the passing of titles and land into their capable hands, and out of my capable one hand. To them: a long life and great glory. I leave you in a friendly manner.

Eivor defeated the man nicknamed "The Walloper" in a fistfight.
The Walloper's baldness, yellow outfit, his ability to defeat opponents with one strike, and his quest to find a worthy adversary are all references to Saitama, the real name of the titular hero in the Japanese superhero series One-Punch Man.
