Eivor:Azar! You did not tell me the king was my cousin!
Azar:It was most amusing this way, was it not? A little mystery?
Eivor:I prefer to know what is what, but it was a pleasant surprise.
Azar:He's eager to see you. Shall we set sail?
Eivor:Ja, I would like to see this land, and my cousin Bárid!
Eivor and Azar left on Eivor's longship for Ireland.
Eivor:I am not yet prepared for this voyage.
Azar:I will wait.
Eivor wrapped up her business in England and returned to Azar to prepare for the journey.
Azar:Eivor. Are you prepared to go to Ireland?

The ship arriving in Ireland
After some time, they arrived in Ireland's waters as the next verse of Eivor's saga began in earnest.
Azar:Ireland. A patchwork of petty kings jostling for hills and pastures and green, green glens. My adopted isle.
Eivor:Azar, how is it that Bárid, as Norse as ice, is King of Dublin?
Azar:Dublin is a Viking city, Eivor. But, in fact, merchants and beggars come from all parts to parade in its muddy streets.
Eivor:Odd to think of Bárid as king of the city.
Azar:It perhaps sound grander than it is. Ireland has many, many kings. They litter the countryside. And Bárid's throne is not secure. Flann Sinna calls the tune.
Eivor:Who is he?
Azar:Soon to be crowned High King of all Ireland! Flann distrusts Vikings, though he needs them.
Eivor:Bárid will find a way. As a boy he wasn't much of a fighter, but somehow always came out all right.
Azar:I'm sure what you say is true. Certainly, he is loved by his people.
Azar, Eivor, and her crew arrived in Dublin at its docks.
Although the game uses Eivor's main longship for sailing between England and the other playable regions including Ireland, as well as all activities within those regions, the cutscene of them sailing away from Ravensthorpe uses whatever cosmetic skin is applied to the River Raids longship. The longship returns to normal in the loading screen and all subsequent sections.
