Alisa in Wunderlandscire was a virtual representation of one of Eivor Varinsdottir's genetic memories, relived by Layla Hassan through the Portable Animus HR-8.5.
Description[edit | edit source]
Eivor came across a cave and heard a child's voice in the distance.
Dialogue[edit | edit source]
Eivor heard a faint voice talking to herself.
- Anglo-Saxon Child: Can anybody hear me? Help!
That didn't work out at all as you planned, did it?
O, Alisa. You silly, silly girl. - Eivor: Is that a child I hear?
Eivor descended the cliff and found a cave entrance.
- Eivor: The cries are coming from inside that cave.
Inside, she noticed a broken path, a steep drop, and a child on the ground.
- Eivor: Stay there, girl! I will help you out.
- Anglo-Saxon Child: O, thank you, thank you! I thought I was going to die in here! I give myself very good advice, but I very seldom follow it.

Eivor dropped down and approached the girl.
- Eivor: You're hurt. Hold on, I'll carry you.
She picked up the girl and carried her up and out of the cave.
- Anglo-Saxon Child: That's the last time I go chasing rabbits. Especially white ones. Now, just a little rest, and I'll be ready for more adventures!

- Eivor: You hurt yourself hunting a rabbit?
- Anglo-Saxon Child: Hunting? No! He just seemed, well, in a hurry. I wanted to see where he was going.
- Eivor: Take care with that curiosity, girl. You never know where it might lead. Farewell.
Outcome[edit | edit source]
Eivor rescued the injured child from the cave.
Trivia[edit | edit source]
- The title of the memory, table within the cave, rabbits around it and the story Alisa tells Eivor is a reference to Lewis Carroll's 1865 novel, Alice in Wonderland.
