Eivor returned to Hemthorpe's longhouse to speak with Sunniva.

Time passed as the sun rose for the Althing. Eivor stood near the longhouse as Vili came to find her.
Eivor turned around and looked at Vili.
Eivor shook her head and smiled.
Vili left to address the Althing as Eivor smiled.

Eivor and Vili shook hands.
Eivor shrugged Vili.
Vili walked back and sat on the jarl's seat.
Eivor smiled and left the Althing.

With the funeral of Hemming Jarl and the naming of his successor complete, Eivor readied to return home to Ravensthorpe.
Hemming's body was burned and Eivor helped decide who became the next jarl of his clan.
After Hemming's funeral boat is burned and the game is loaded, the crowd may flee in terror from the funeral pyre, as NPCs are wont to do when fires ignite in the game world. Reloading the auto save after the fire is lit will reset them and the fire may burn out.
Historically, none of the runes featured here are Old Norse or Viking Age runes. The vegvísir, an Icelandic magic stave, is the oldest of the three with its earliest attestation from 1860. The other two seem to have been born out of the Germanic neopagan heathenry movements of the 1970s such as Ásatrú.
