Viking Brawl was a virtual representation of one of Eivor Varinsdottir's genetic memories, relived by Layla Hassan through the Portable Animus HR-8.5.

Eivor took part in a fighting contest.
Dialogue[edit | edit source]
Eivor approached Sunniva.
- Sunniva: We've brought back the fist fighting tournament!
- Eivor: Good. It's been too long. Any changes from last time?
- Sunniva: We have added new rules to make it more challenging! After each round you win, you will earn tokens. You can leave with those tokens or bet them on your next fight and earn even more!
- Eivor: And if I should lose that next fight?
- Sunniva: Then you leave with nothing! The greater the risk, the more the reward.
- Eivor: I see now how it's more challenging.
- Sunniva: Ready to fight?
(Accept – I'm ready to fight.)
- Eivor: I am.
Eivor and her opponent entered the ring. Eivor won the round, paused for drinking and returned to the ring. Sunniva checked in with her.
- Sunniva: Are you ready for the next round?
- Eivor: Yes. I'm ready.
Eivor went on, risking her tokens. Eivor won the round, paused for drinking and returned to the ring for another eight times, getting progressively drunker throughout. Even so, she won and was declared the winner to the crowd.
- Sunniva: I give you your champion. Eivor of the Raven Clan!
Eivor celebrated for a moment before passing out.

Eivor won the fighting match and earned many tokens as a result.
