Heroic Scholar was a virtual representation of one of Eivor Varinsdottir's genetic memories, relived by Basim Ibn Ishaq in 2020 through the Portable Animus HR-8.5, in which a vision of one of Odin's memories could be seen.
Dialogue
- Gæfuleysi and the Boring Fight
Once, Gæfuleysi fought in a long battle. After the fifth day, he grew bored and struggled to stay awake. To keep alert, he designed new methods to kill his enemies. Thus, he was able to enjoy himself once again and remain awake long enough to win.
- Gæfuleysi and the One-Eyed Elf
Once, Gæfuleysi dueled with a one-eyed elf. The dwarf broke his axe, and so tried to teach himself how to shoot a bow. But he was unable to get the hang of it and lost the fight.
- Gæfuleysi and the Invincible Man
Once, Gæfuleysi challenged a man who could shrug off any wound except those caused by a sword. So Gæfuleysi forged himself a sword and won the fight very quickly.
- Gæfuleysi and the Witch
Once, a witch cursed Gæfuleysi so that he tired easily and regained his strength only slowly. While the curse remained in place, the dwarf had to conserve his strength very carefully.
- Gæfuleysi and the Cursed Mead
Once, Gæfuleysi drank some cursed mead, which left him drunk. Everything he tried to do to sober up only made him more drunk!
- Gæfuleysi and the Cursed Fairy
Once, Gæfuleysi fought a cursed fairy, whose first strike was deadly but whose follow-up was no stronger than a baby's. And thus, by dodging and countering, Gæfuleysi emerged the victor.
- Gæfuleysi and Thor's Small Manhood
Once, Gæfuleysi spread embarrassing rumors about the size of Thor's manhood. The god decided to teach Gæfuleysi a lesson by striking him with lightning bolts at very inopportune moments.
- Gæfuleysi and the Belching Giant
Once, Gæfuleysi fought a giant. This giant would belch loudly and at regular intervals, leaving it temporarily invincible. But Gæfuleysi still killed it.
- Gæfuleysi and the Spikey Giant
Once, Gæfuleysi fought a giant who wore spiked armor and wielded a spiked shield. Every time the dwarf headbutted his opponent, his forehead would bleed. But he still won in the end.
- Gæfuleysi and the Bear
Once, Gæfuleysi got drunk and stripped off his clothes. Armed with nothing but his bare fists, he picked a fight with a bear. It ate him whole.
- Gæfuleysi and the Rancid Troll
Once Gæfuleysi ate a troll! Its rancid flesh left him forgetful for the next hour, and during this time he was unable to repeat any action.
- Gæfuleysi and the Bandits
Once, some bandits robbed Gæfuleysi. He chased them down and slew them. Afterwards, he discovered they had none of his possessions after all.
