Lady of the Lake was a virtual representation of one of Eivor Varinsdottir's genetic memories, relived by Layla Hassan through the Portable Animus HR-8.5.
Description
Eivor came across a strange singing woman walking around a lake.
Dialogue
Eivor found a lake filled with corpses.
- Eivor: There is an army of the dead down here.
Eivor heard a singing voice coming from somewhere near the very odd locked house by the lake. On the side of the house, there was a bear in a cage and behind the house, a body strung up upside down.
- Eivor: Strange, her voice is like a lullaby. I wonder where it leads.
She followed the singing woman in the white hood, approaching her when she stopped at the margins of the lake.
- Eivor: What is it you want? Who are you?
Eivor saw the door to the house open and went to investigate. On entering the single-room home, the front door closed on its own, locking Eivor inside. Looking around, she found a note on the carpet.
- Scrap of Paper:
Three piggies today. Five piggies tomorrow.
So many lost little pigs. Juicy and fat. I'll feast for days.
Just as she finished reading it, a poison trap sprung, filling the house with poison gas.
- Eivor: Poison! I need to get out of here.
- Strange Woman: (laughing)
Eivor moved a barricade and left through the window, finding the singing woman outside.
- Eivor: I'll kill you for that. Have you anything to say?
Eivor attacked the woman for her attempted murder. The woman retreated with a knife in hand, using smoke bombs to try to conceal herself from Eivor, but being unversed in combat, was swiftly killed by the enraged Viking.
Outcome
After Eivor got trapped inside the house, she escaped and killed the woman.
