Haunting of Neist Point
Haunting of Neist Point was a virtual representation of one of Eivor Varinsdottir's genetic memories, relived by Layla Hassan in 2020 through the Portable Animus HR-8.5.
Description[edit | edit source]
Eivor investigated a haunting at Neist Point.
Dialogue[edit | edit source]
Eivor arrived at an abandoned village at Neist Point and overheard a mysterious voice.
- Otherworldly Voice: Oooooh, this is no place for children! Stay awaaaaay!
On a table nearby, Eivor found a diary page.
Page of a Diary
- My child, do you watch me from above? I've committed myself to ensuring your tragedy will never be repeated. After losing you, what more can I do to make my life mean something?
Intrigued, Eivor searched the area and came across a tower. The tower's entrance was blocked by an destructible wall, which Eivor dismantled.
- Otherworldly Voice: Heed my warning, child! This will be the last place you visit if you don't. Ooooooh!
Eivor maneuvered and broke through the different levels of the tower and scaled the exterior. Reaching the top, Eivor noticed a man sitting in the uppermost vantage of the tower. Eivor entered inside to speak with him.

- Eivor: Hello there.
- Old Man: Oh. You're not a child.
- Eivor: And you're not a spirit.
- Old Man: No. Just an old man whose son drowned playing near these ruins many years ago.
- Eivor: I'm sorry. That's terrible.
- Old Man: It was. Now I spend my days warding away children from this place so no other parent must suffer as I did.
- Eivor: I will leave you to it.
- Old Man: Thank you. Be careful on the way down.
Eivor left the old man to his task as she left the tower.
Outcome[edit | edit source]
Eivor found out that the mysterious voice was a local man, who lost his son to the ruins of the area.
