Reporting on Vinland was a virtual representation of one of Eivor Varinsdottir's genetic memories, relived by Layla Hassan through the Portable Animus HR-8.5.
Description[edit | edit source]
Eivor spoke to Randvi on her objective status in Vinland.
Dialogue[edit | edit source]
Eivor arrived back in Ravensthorpe after several weeks of travel back and forth from Vinland and sensed a familiar calling on the wind.
- Eivor: Now, it seems the wind calls me back to Randvi. Best tell her the good news.
Eivor marched up the path to the longhouse to speak with Randvi, as she had done many times upon returning from the shires of England.
- Randvi: You've been away for so long!
- Eivor: Were you worried?
- Randvi: Of course I was. Such a long voyage, Did you do what had to be done?
- Eivor: I did. And I am eager to focus on problems closer to home.
- Randvi: Good.
- Eivor: It is done. Gorm is dead. The Kjotvesson clan is wiped from this world.
- Randvi: Good. I would like to hear everything about your journey to Vinland when you have time.
- Eivor: One day.
Eivor pulled the dagger from Vinland on the Alliance Map and Randvi slid a raven figurine in its place. Leaving the longhouse, Eivor went to the Hidden Ones Bureau to share the news with Hytham.
- Eivor: Gorm is dead. Nameless and alone across the open sea.
- Hytham: A Master of the Order, hewn from the trunk of their dying tree. You are getting closer to the roots.
