Twirling Targets was a virtual representation of one of Eivor Varinsdottir's genetic memories, relived by Layla Hassan through the Portable Animus HR-8.5.
Description
Eivor took part in the shooting challenge.
Dialogue
Eivor approached Thyra.
- Eivor: What is all this?
- Thyra: A new Yule game to test your skills: Twirling Targets. You shoot as many spinning targets as you can, as quick as you can. Care to give it a go?
(Accept – Yes, I am ready to shoot.)
- Eivor: Put a bow in my hand.
She then began shooting the targets, with Thyra complimenting her shooting throught it.
- Thyra: Take a moment to center yourself and then go!
Freya's love! Incredible shooting!
Glad I bet on you to win this!
By Odin's eye, you shoot well!
You make this look easy!
You make your ancestors proud!
Thyra also called out the time.
- Thyra: You're half the way there, Eivor!
Nearing the end of the game, Thyra gave one last warning.
- Thyra: Time's almost up!
Having tallied up Eivor's points, Thyra complimented her one last time.
- Thyra: You've done it! You've achieved perfection. I did not think I would ever see such a score.
Outcome
Eivor won the shooting challenge and some festival tokens for her trouble.
Behind the scenes
This memory appears under the same name and most of its content but with different descriptions in both the Yule Festival and the Ostara Festival. The only difference in content is that for the Ostara event the first couple of lines are ommited.
