Reporting on Ledecestrescire was a virtual representation of one of Eivor Varinsdottir's genetic memories, relived by Layla Hassan through the Portable Animus HR-8.5.

Description

Eivor returned to Ravensthorpe to report to Randvi on her mission in Ledecestrescire.

Dialogue

Eivor entered the longhouse in Ravensthorpe and overheard Randvi speaking with Ceolbert over the Alliance Map.

• Ceolbert: So this is where you devise your plans. A cozy room, well fit and fortified.
• Randvi: I advise. Sigurd and Eivor devise. But yes, it happens right here.
• Ceolbert: My father told me once, that all a good army needs is bread, water, and an accurate map.
• Randvi: Axes and shields are useful as well. But I think your father is onto something.
• Ceolbert: Yes, he was simplifying of course. You'd need clothes and rest as well... and good company, of course.
• Randvi: Not as pithy when you say it like that.
• Ceolbert: No.
• Randvi: How long you'll be expect staying here?
• Ceolbert: I don't yet know, long enough to absorb your wisdom I hope.
• Randvi: You will have a long grey beard by then aetheling.
• Ceolbert: This map does look a bit old, You could probably find better .
• Randvi: O, Yea? How so?
• Ceolbert: You see Northrumbia? It's ruled by Danes now. Halfdan Ragnarsson, Ubba and Ivar's older brother.
• Randvi: Good to know, I will make a note of it. You said Eivor would be joining us?
• Ceolbert: Soon yes, she was on her way.

Eivor approached the pair.

• Eivor: Ah. Glad to see you made it, Ceolbert.
• Ceolbert: Thanks to Sigurd. He was a good guide and even better company. He told me some incredible stories. The best ones were about you.
• Eivor: Hopefully nothing too embarrassing.
• Ceolbert: There were a few gems.
• Randvi: Not to interrupt, Eivor, but what of Ledecestrescire?
• Eivor: The alliance is won. The Sons of Ragnar are friends to our clan.
• Randvi: Glad to hear it. Well done to you both.

Eivor pulled the dagger from the map and Randvi slid a raven marker in its place.

Outcome

Eivor secured an alliance with Ubba and Ivarr the Boneless, as well as King Ceolwulf II of Mercia.
