*Frigg: Hurry! We are nearly there!
*Havi: Peace, Frigg. It will do us no good to arrive at our enemy's doorstep exhausted.
*Frigg: Surtr has our son! Fair Baldr, fallen to treachery! Does that mean anything to you?
*Havi: It does, and Surtr will pay a heavy price for it. But we do not serve our cause by reckless haste. The tyrant of Muspelheim acts with purpose, and I would know the web he weaves before I'm caught in it.
*Frigg: So speaks one who never nursed our babe at the breast, nor held him as he slept! You were warming your wife's bed while I nurtured our son.
*Havi: You were only too keen to send him to my care, and Freya's, when the call of adventure became too great to resist. Now dampen your heart-fire. Captive he may be, but there's nothing in the Nine Realms that can harm Baldr.
*Frigg: There is one thing. Pick up your heels!
*Havi: As do I, yet still the wretch refuses to confess. That is why he waits in fetters for our return. Chained by my own hand, as I chained his son.
*Frigg: As he has chained ours in turn.
*Havi: If he is truly conspiring with Surtr, he will know my everlasting wrath.
*Frigg: Will he, Havi? Or will you forgive him once again, so he may wreak more misery upon us? You love your dear blood-brother too well, when he has brought you nothing but pain.
*Havi: We have brought each other pain.
Havi and Frigg came upon burnt ruins and dead dwarven bodies all around.
*Frigg: Havi. Look. | |||
*Havi: Burned. Their corpses left as food for the crows. A dark omen indeed.
*Frigg: Come. There is no time to waste on the dead.
Havi and Frigg continued on their path.
*Havi: We should have done more. We should have rallied the whole of Asgard when the Muspels invaded Svartalfheim.
*Frigg: And you should have never let our son come here!
*Havi: He sought to prevent this war. Was that not a worthy goal? As for Asgard... The Builder's treachery was still fresh. We needed to rebuild, honor our dead. There was little appetite for further conflict.
*Frigg: I recall you said the same when Surtr invaded Alfheim. Now the elves are no more.
*Havi: Now you dredge up ancient history?
*Frigg: You should have intervened, Lord of Asgard. Then and now. Instead, Surtr has grown too bold, and our son may be the cost of it.
*Havi: Do not say so, Frigg. We will find him yet.
Havi and Frigg arrived at the ruins of Eitri.
*Frigg: What have they done? The city lies in ruins!
*Havi: This is worse than I thought. They've put this land to flame and sword.
*Frigg: Baldr! | |||
Havi and Frigg began their search for Baldr.
*Frigg: He is nearby, Havi. I feel it.
*Havi: You feel it? | |||
*Frigg: The bond of mother and child. Something you will never understand. Now follow!
Havi followed Frigg into the city.
*Frigg: Where is he? That way! Maybe this?
*Havi: These buildings stand hollow. No one is here.
*Frigg: Then we have nothing to fear. There! Inside that house!
Havi followed Frigg towards an abandoned building.
*Frigg: That building! Hurry!
Havi and Frigg entered the building.
*Havi: I see no sign of Baldr.
*Frigg: No, but the essence of him lingers. It is stronger here than before. Do not slow, Havi! We are on his trail!
*Havi: If this instinct is true, let us follow it further.
*Frigg: Where are you, my son? If they have harmed a hair on your head...
*Havi: Keep faith, Frigg. We will find him safe, you'll see.
Havi continued to follow Frigg.
*Havi: This city broods beneath a cloak on uneasy silence. Where is the enemy?
*Frigg: Concern yourself only with our son. He is close, I feel it now!
Havi and Frigg found themselves within a tower.
*Frigg: Oh! He was here! The smell of his skin, his hair. It's as if he left but a moment ago!
*Havi: There may be other signs. Keep watch. I will look upstairs.
Havi and Frigg investigated the tower.
*Havi: What is this place? What happened here?
Havi found blood near the stairs.
*Frigg: Dried blood. Could it be his?
Havi went upstairs and probed the room. Havi found a table filled with mistletoe.
*Havi: Mistletoe... They know.
Havi also found a note of instructions on a table nearby.

*Frigg: Havi! They are here! The enemy is upon us!

*Muspel Warrior 1: He waits at my master's pleasure, there. But maybe not so fair as you remember.

*Havi: Then let no lackey of Surtr stand in our way!
*Muspel Warrior 3: Kill the Æsir scum!
*Frigg: Havi! Here they come!
Havi and Frigg continued towards the throne room.
*Muspel Warrior 4: You will never reach our master! This city will be your tomb!
Havi and Frigg fought all Muspel warriors coming their way.
*Frigg: These fiends are coming from everywhere! How many more must we face?
Havi and Frigg were closer to the throne room.
*Frigg: Keep going! We are nearly there!
Havi and Frigg arrived and barged through the entrance. Walking inside carefully, Havi and Frigg noticed the lava surrounding them as well as an unconscious Baldr hanging above.
*Frigg: ...Baldr? | |||
Frigg ran to save her son, but was immediately cut off by Sinmara. Giant footsteps were soon heard as Surtr walked forward.
*Surtr: Ah, Havi, you came. As I knew you must. It's been too long since you and I crossed blades.
*Havi: Then let's make this the final―
Frigg immediately punched Sinmara in the face, as Sinmara spat out blood. Sinmara summoned two guards to forcibly escort Frigg out of the room as Havi and Surtr agreed to fight each other.
*Surtr: Don't worry, High One. Neither you or I are fated to die today.
Soon, Surtr and Havi fought each other.
*Havi: Each injury you have done my son, you will feel them tenfold!
*Surtr: I feel nothing but your empty breath!
Havi and Surtr contended each other immensely.
*Surtr: Do you falter, Lord of Asgard? You should never have come to my hall.
*Havi: I will close your mouth with steel!
Havi continued his fight against Surtr.
*Havi: Your dark ambitions end here, Surtr! Surrender my son to me!
*Surtr: Keep talking, High One. Your blows are as weak as your words.
After a contentious battle, Havi defeated Surtr, who fell over dead. Meanwhile, Frigg fought and killed the two Muspel warriors guarding her. However, Frigg noticed Surtr arise.
*Frigg: Havi! Behind you!
Surtr backhanded Havi and then picked him by the head.
*Surtr: You look like you could do with a lie down.
Surtr threw Havi against a wall as Havi faded in and out of consciousness.
*Havi: Frigg... | |||
Frigg and Sinmara fought against each other, until Surtr intervened and incapacitated Frigg.
*Frigg: Uh... Frigg... No...
Surtr held Havi's head to see Sinmara execute Frigg.
*Surtr: You'll want to watch this.
*Havi: ...No... no! | |||
Havi lied motionless as Sinmara held her axe to his throat.
*Sinmara: We must kill the High One.
*Surtr: He is not fated to die today.
Sinmara began to drag Havi, who glimpsed at his son still seemingly unconscious.

The Rescue was a virtual representation of one of Eivor Varinsdottir's genetic memories, relived by Basim Ibn Ishaq in 2020 through the Portable Animus HR-8.5, in which a vision of one of Odin's memories could be seen.
Description
Havi and Frigg met at the Asgardian Gate in Svartalfheim to find their son, Baldr.
Dialogue
Havi and Frigg arrived in Svartalfheim.
- Frigg: Hurry! We are nearly there!
- Havi: Peace, Frigg. It will do us no good to arrive at our enemy's doorstep exhausted.
- Frigg: Surtr has our son! Fair Baldr, fallen to treachery! Does that mean anything to you?
- Havi: It does, and Surtr will pay a heavy price for it. But we do not serve our cause by reckless haste. The tyrant of Muspelheim acts with purpose, and I would know the web he weaves before I'm caught in it.
- Frigg: So speaks one who never nursed our babe at the breast, nor held him as he slept! You were warming your wife's bed while I nurtured our son.
- Havi: You were only too keen to send him to my care, and Freya's, when the call of adventure became too great to resist. Now dampen your heart-fire. Captive he may be, but there's nothing in the Nine Realms that can harm Baldr.
- Frigg: There is one thing. Pick up your heels!
- Havi: As do I, yet still the wretch refuses to confess. That is why he waits in fetters for our return. Chained by my own hand, as I chained his son.
- Frigg: As he has chained ours in turn.

- Frigg: Will he, Havi? Or will you forgive him once again, so he may wreak more misery upon us? You love your dear blood-brother too well, when he has brought you nothing but pain.
- Havi: We have brought each other pain.
Havi and Frigg came upon burnt ruins and dead dwarven bodies all around.
- Frigg: Havi. Look.
- Havi: Burned. Their corpses left as food for the crows. A dark omen indeed.
- Frigg: Come. There is no time to waste on the dead.
Havi and Frigg continued on their path.
