The Legend of Lugh was a virtual representation of one of Eivor Varinsdottir's genetic memories, relived by Layla Hassan through the Portable Animus HR-8.5.
Description
Eivor met with Vagn to learn of any new legends he'd heard of.
Dialogue
After Eivor had raided the rivers of Mercia with the foreign Jomsvikings and retrieved the Legacy of Saint George with Vagn's knowledge, she returned to him hungry for more treasure and lands to raid.
- Eivor: Vagn! Have you cooked up any new legends for me to go chasing?
- Vagn: Eivor, you make it sound like I'm telling tales! But now that you mention it...
Vagn handed her a note.
The Legend of Lugh
- Hear the tale of Lugh, King, and hero. Born to the gods, killer of Balor. Wielder of the fiery spear. None could penetrate his armor. Died by treachery, reborn in his son. May his bones find rest along the river Berbha and his spear taste blood evermore.
- Eivor: And is this Lugh real or will I be chasing after another myth?
- Vagn: Will that matter when you are wearing a new set of armor?
Eivor laughed.
- Eivor: No.
- Vagn: Before you go, I've added more stock to my list of wares. Take a look when you have a free moment. O, and my scouts tell me that the rivers have been replenished and are ripe for raiding!

Eivor sailed to the river Berbha in Ireland. At Wicker Grove, she found note with a prayer, near a myth clue she picked up.
Prayer to Lugh
Having found the clue, Eivor returned to Vagn.
- Eivor: Vagn! I found more clues for you to decipher.
- Vagn: I am eager to see where these will lead us!
He took a moment to inspect it.
- Vagn: Ah ha! The rest of the armor set is hidden across the River Erriff. A quick word of warning, Eivor. There is a Champion who resides at the end of the river. If past encounters are to be trusted, he might be holding on to Lugh's legendary spear.
- Eivor: If past encounters are to be trusted, he will not be in possession of that spear for long.
Outcome
Eivor started to collect the pieces of Lugh's legacy and learned of a champion at the end of the River Erriff.
