Reporting on East Anglia was a virtual representation of one of Eivor Varinsdottir's genetic memories, relived by Layla Hassan through the Portable Animus HR-8.5.
Description
Eivor met with Randvi in Ravensthorpe to report on her mission in East Anglia.
Dialogue
Eivor returned from East Anglia to find people shouting in the longhouse. After settling a dispute between Holger and Rowan, she continued on to give her report to Randvi.
- Eivor: East Anglia is with us. Their King Oswald has pledged his loyalty to us.
- Randvi: Eivor King-Maker we shall call you soon.
Eivor removed the dagger from the map and Randvi slid a raven pawn in its place.
- Randvi: Some interesting news. King Ceolwulf has sent Ceolbert to Sciropescire. He hopes to install him as ealdorman there.
- Eivor: Good for Ceolbert. He should do well, considering all he has learned from you.
- Randvi: I gave him only a taste of my knowledge. The rest he will need to figure out for himself.
Before Eivor left, Randvi shared with her some sad news from the settlement.
If Finnr joined Eivor's crew, she spoke to him near the docks.
- Eivor: Finnr, welcome to our home. May you find a second wind here, one to fill your sails and send you across the world and back.
- Finnr: That is an image I will fix in my mind, Wolf-Kissed. Happy to be aboard.
Outcome
Eivor reported to Randvi on her mission, which was to secure an alliance with Oswald and his wife Valdis, king and queen of East Anglia.
