Eivor made their way to the Forward Camp.
Eivor arrived at the camp.
Eivor approached Finnr on the edge of a cliff and spoke to him.
Finnr and Eivor turned away from the cliff edge and walked to a map hanging on a fallen fort wall.
Eivor turned to face Finnr's men gathered behind them.
Eivor approached Finnr's troops.
Eivor approached Finnr's troops.
Eivor approached Finnr's troops.
Finnr's men cheered. Finnr approached Eivor and nodded his head approvingly before following his troops. A montage followed, showing the Vikings preparing for a raid. The scene cut to Eivor and Finnr leading a flotilla in stormy waters to the castle.
A horn sounded as the longboats sailed closer to Burgh Castle.
Eivor spoke to the crew.
Another horn sounded.
A volley of fire arrows lit the night sky.
More volleys of fire arrows were loosed at the ships.
Eivor ran across the deck.
Eivor dove underwater as the longboat's momentum carried it up the beachhead to ram into the castle wall, causing an explosion.
Eivor entered the fort, where the Norse sought to drive back the Anglo-Saxons.
The Norse brought a ram and broke through the first palisade shipyard gate to enter the next section, where there were reinforcements. Eivor spotted the second gate.
The Norse approached the metal gate and commenced ramming it, to no visible signs of success, until it was bombarded by fire arrows and began burning. Eivor climbed the doorway and cleared the ramparts of defenders.
The defenders cleared, the Norse rallied and broke through the second gate.
Eivor ran through the castle grounds and came to the third section.
The Norse breached the final gate and swarmed into the castle courtyard. Killing a soldier with their Hidden Blade, Eivor looked up and saw Oswald held hostage on a rampart with a knife to his throat.
Eivor turned to the Norse behind them.
Rued punched Oswald in the face and grabbed his throat.
Rued's men attacked Eivor and the Norse as Valdis arrived with reinforcements.
Rued's men and the Slayer leading them were defeated. Eivor climbed a wall and saw a caged Oswald in tight discussion with Rued.
On seeing Eivor, Rued set his pet wolf on them and began attacking with his longsword.
Eivor addressed Rued.
Eivor and Rued found themselves in a blade lock.
Eivor defeated Rued, who plunged his sword in the ground and knelt down, head bowed in submission. Oswald was freed from his cage.
Eivor moved to kill Rued.
Rued laughed contemptuously.
The Norse and Anglo-Saxons cleared out Rued's forces as they took control of the castle.
Eivor approached Oswald on the battlements.
Finnr and Valdis approached the pair.
Oswald glanced at Valdis before speaking to Finnr.
Oswald spoke to Valdis.
Valdis hugged Oswald.
Oswald and Valdis took their leave.
Finnr left to go rest.
Eivor successfully led an attack on Burgh Castle to free Oswald from Rued. After defeating Rued, they prepared for the imminent wedding between Oswald and his fiancée, Valdis.
