Targeted Strategy was a virtual representation of one of Eivor Varinsdottir's genetic memories, relived by Layla Hassan through the Portable Animus HR-8.5.

Eivor met with Thyra to compete in her archery contest.
Dialogue[edit | edit source]
Eivor approached Thyra.
- Eivor: Thyra! We need an archery challenge to test our skills.
- Thyra: This range tests a hunter's sense to know when to shoot and when not to shoot.
- Eivor: When does a hunter not shoot?
- Thyra: Imagine we're hunting together. You step on a branch and I shoot without thinking. What do you think happens.
- Eivor: I take your point.
- Thyra: In this contest, archers score points for hitting the right targets, and lose points for hitting the wrong ones.
- Eivor: Seems straightforward.
- Thyra: There's also a time limit to make it more challenging. You want to give it a shot?
(Accept – I accept.)
- Eivor: Hand me a bow.
- Thyra: Start on my mark... Begin!
Eivor then began shooting the targets, avoiding the scarecrows and yule goats. Thyra called out the time.
- Thyra: Halfway mark.
The countdown ended.
- Thyra: Lower your bow.
Having tallied up Eivor's points, Thyra complimented her.
- Thyra: I do not think I could do better. We have a champion.
Outcome[edit | edit source]
Eivor won the archery contest by hitting targets while avoid hitting Yule goats and scarecrows.
