Prize of the Minotaur was one of the Atlantis artifacts, leftover pieces of technology created by the Isu Aita and Juno as part of the Olympos Project.
The artifact was capable of transmutating its users in to the projected image of its guardian, the most notable being an individual who was transformed into a Minotaur. The original guardian was slain by the Tainted One Theseus and the artifact was found by another person who was turned into the new beast. The artifact remained in his guard until it was seized by the Spartan misthios Kassandra in 429 BCE, during the Peloponnesian War.[1]
The artifact also acted as a key, of sorts, to seal the gateway to Atlantis.[2]
