Gaia the Fist

Gaia the Fist (died 429 BCE) was a mercenary who operated around Potidaia in Makedonia during the Peloponnesian War.

Biography[edit | edit source]

Around 429 BCE, Gaia was one of the mercenaries hired by the Order of Hunters to hunt down the misthios Kassandra, who was also a Tainted One. The influx of mercenaries troubled Ide, an elderly woman living in Amphipolis, and when she crossed paths with Kassandra, Ide asked her to get rid of the mercenaries.^[1] Kassandra did so, finding Gaia hanging around Potidaia's docks, and killing him.^[2]
