I wanted to ask you something. Which is... what's your name? This article title is conjecture. Although the article subject is canon, no official name for it has been given. |

Perseus' Sword of Eden was a Sword of Eden used by Perseus to slay the gorgon Medusa[1][2] after she had been transformed into the Writhing Dread by an artifact which was later retrospectively known as the Prize of the Medusa.[3]
History[edit | edit source]
Over the years, multiple weapons were purported to be the one used by Perseus. A sickle called Hermes' Scythe was on display in the Temple of Dionysos Kolonatas in Sparta during the 5th century BCE alongside other relics alleged to have been a part of his story. Additionally within Aletheia's simulations of the Underworld Perseus wield a sword called the Cursed Gorgoneion.[3]
Other examples included the one used by the Writhing Dread,[3] and the one sold on markets in the Ptolemaic Kingdom.[4]
