Kurush (died 480 BCE) was a Persian officer of the Achaemenid Empire who fought in the Battle of Thermopylae in 480 BCE.

During the battle, Kurush defeated several Spartan soldiers before being knocked off a cliff by the Spartan King Leonidas. The two dueled in combat on a ruined altar overlooking the bay, and Leonidas emerged victorious.^[1]

Trivia[edit | edit source]

The name Kurush is the Old Persian variation of the name Cyrus, which was the name of the Achaemenid Empire's founder Cyrus the Great.
Kurush wears the standard outfit worn by members of the Immortals. Kassandra can later acquire a similar outfit in different colour variants.
