Prize of the Sphinx was one of the several Apples of Eden, leftover pieces of technology created by the Isu.

The Apple was one the relics needed to seal a gateway to the Isu city, Atlantis. It was also capable of transmutate its users, most notable being an individual who was transformed into a Sphinx.
