Prize of the Minotaur was one of a number of Isu Apples of Eden integral to the Olympos Project.
The Apple was capable of transmutating its users, most notable being an individual who was transformed into a Minotaur, until it was seized by the Spartan misthios Kassandra at some point during the 5th century BCE.
The Apple also acted as a key, of sorts, for the gateway to Atlantis.[1]
