The Sword of Damokles was one of the Swords of Eden, sword-like artifacts created by the First Civilization scientist Hephaestus to fight during the War of Unification. These Pieces of Eden seemed to grant their bearers great power and leadership, and were later used by influential humans in battle.

By the late 5th century BCE, the artifact had come into the possession of the Cult of Kosmos, a precursor group of the Order of the Knights Templar. The Cult granted the weapon to their champion, Deimos (born as Alexios), as his descent from the First Civilization allowed him to utilize more of the artifact's potential. After Deimos' defeat at the hands of his sister Kassandra, she inherited the artifact.

  • The name is anachronistic for the regressive timeframe as Damokles wouldn’t be born for near another century.
