Sergeant major Gallagher was a major in the British Army and a member of the British Assassins during World War II. He is an ancestor to Philip J. Gallagher, a 21st century veterinarian and a member of The Crew, a group of Assassins in 2016.
In 1942, Gallagher was sent to France alongside "The Ambassador" to recover Templar intel in a private party held at the Folies Bergère in Paris, France. The event, organized by the German Templar Wilhelm Schmidt, contained secret intel regarding the high-ranking Templar Heinz Müller's activities in the region. With the help of the Special Operations Executive Nancy Wake and the French Resistance members Reboante and the dancer Josephine Baker, the Assassins infiltrated the party and uncovered information about Müller's whereabouts in northern France.[1]
