The Wokou Hunter was a wandering Buddhist warrior-monk who hunted pirates and was active during the Ming dynasty.[1]
Behind the scenes[edit | edit source]
The character's quote comes from the Vietnamese Buddhist monk Thích Nhất Hạnh's 1997 book The Heart of the Buddha's Teaching.
