Inez is a thief and a member of the Assassin Brotherhood based in Chicago.
Biography[edit | edit source]
In 2016, taking a job at a party at Wicker Park, Inez was tasked to steal a small box at a guarded facility. However, she was caught and shot at while making her escape. Fortunately, she was saved by Assassin Royce from the Templar guards.[1] In his getaway car, he introduced himself to Inez and explained to her about her lineage being of importance and about the secret war between the Assassins and Templars. She soon agreed to have him take her to his cell.[2]
Inez soon stood in a training session, where she meets other recruits, one being Iowa, and the session's trainer Doria. Put against Iowa, she overpowered him and impressed Doria, who took her down as another lesson of her training.[3] Under Royce's supervision, she is later placed into the Animus reliving Jacob Frye's genetic memories. Fortunately, he took her out of the simulation before her heart rate increased any further.[4]
Afterwards, Inez joined Royce, Junko, and Iowa to another hideout to ready and arm themselves on their next mission.[5] Later, Inez followed Iowa, Royce, and Reiko on a mission, but they were all later caught in a crossfire with the Templars. Although she was shot, Reiko assisted her as they all escaped from the Templars. She even fired a stray bullet to save Royce's life.[6] Later, at an American Civil War cemetery, they all discovered a Piece of Eden from an old wooden casket.[7]
On another mission near Jefferson Park, Inez was on the run after Templars tracked and raced after her. At the train station, she tried to escape their line of sight but was caught by one of their people. Fortunately, Reiko came with a stun gun and incapacitated the assailant while saving Inez once more. However, they began to flee, despite the odds stacked against them.[8]
