Léonie Marie Julie Bathiat (1898 – 1992), known professionally as Arletty, was a French actress, singer, and fashion model. During the occupation of Paris by the Nazi forces, she engaged in an affair with the German Luftwaffe officer Hans Jürgen Soehring.
