Fenghuang (Chinese: 鳳凰) was the alias of a former Ming military general who joined the Chinese Brotherhood of Assassins.[1]
Behind the scenes[edit | edit source]
The character's quote comes from the 2003 martial arts film Kill Bill: Volume 1 and is said by the retired blacksmith Hattori Hanzō, who intentionally shares his name with the Sengoku period shinobi.
