The Entrance to the Vault

The Cave of the Forgotten Isle was an Isu vault located in the depths of the Isle of Thisvi in Phokis, Greece. It housed an Atlantis artifact – the Prize of the Cyclops – which was capable of transmutating its wielder into a Cyclops, a creature in Greek mythology.

During the Peloponnesian War, the Spartan misthios Kassandra met Empedokles on the isle, and together they entered the innermost chamber of the cave. Empedokles was instantly slain by Brontes, the Cyclops inhabiting the vault, but Kassandra bested the beast in battle and reclaimed the Atlantis artifact in its possession, as well as a bludgeon.[1]
