Out to Pasture was a virtual representation of one of Fujibayashi Naoe's genetic memories, relived through the Animus EGO.[1]
Description
Naoe came across a farmer in Izumi Settsu.
Dialogue
At a farm northeast of Sakai, an elderly farmer called out to Naoe.
- Worried Farmer: You there! Excuse me.
Naoe approached the farmer.
- Worried Farmer: I thank you for stopping. Not many linger with the bandit presence here.
- Naoe: They've been causing you trouble?
- Worried Farmer: Trouble for everyone. I see most of what goes on here while grazing my animals. Things going missing in the night. People stalked. Animals butchered. What if I'm next?
- Naoe: I'll keep an eye out for the bandits here. And stop them if it comes to that.
- Worried Farmer: I would be grateful. We all would.
The farmer bowed to Naoe in gratitude. After eliminating a substantial number of bandits, Naoe returned to the farmer.
- Naoe: You won't be seeing any bandits for a while.
- Worried Farmer: Truly? Oh, thank you. I hope it lasts. Take this. It is only right.
The farmer handed some mon and a piece of gold to Naoe.
- Naoe: Thank you. Please, look out for yourself. And your neighbors. You're in this together.
- Worried Farmer: I will.
With the bandits gone, we have new hope. Thank you.
Outcome
Naoe helped the farmer dealt with his bandit issues and was rewarded in return.
