Biography
By 1558, the Japanese Brotherhood sent Akira to the Owari Province in order to recover a Piece of Eden from the priest João Machado, a Templar and the Portuguese Jesuit Gaspar Vilela's right-hand man. In order to get close to him, Akira lent his services to the daimyō Oda Nobunaga and joined the kunoichi Mochizuki Chiyome on a mission to obtain a shipment of arquebuses for Nobunaga's men. Akira and Chiyome boarded João's ship and dispatched the Portuguese guards, allowing Akira to get close to João and promptly assassinate him. As more guards arrived to fight Akira, Chiome recovered the Piece of Eden during the commotion and managed to escape as the ship exploded, leaving Akira's fate unknown.[1]
