- "Precious tear drops of the gods."
- ―Mered the merchant[src]

Silica were fragments found in and near tombs and pyramids across Egypt.
While used as a decorative ornament, the glass-like shards possessed an "eerie feeling", and were primarily collected and used by the Medjay Bayek of Siwa to activate pedestals in various Isu vaults connected to certain tombs in the country. Bayek collected 50 silicas at some point to recover an armor belonging to Isu in the vault Eesfet Oon-m'Aa Poo beneath the Great Sphinx of Giza.[1]
The Order of the Ancients member Khaliset also gathered them, believing them to help her resurrect her daughter, Eshe.[2]
