Maqwat

Maqwat was a member of the Egyptian Hidden Ones who operated alongside Tahira in Sinai, Egypt during the reign of Cleopatra.

Biography[edit | edit source]

In 38 BCE, Maqwat was placed in charge of observing Ampelius, one of the Roman general Rufio's lieutenants who occupied the Walls-of-the-Ruler and secretly was an Order of the Ancients member known as "The Administrator". When the Hidden Ones' Mentor Bayek set out to hunt down Ampelius, Maqwat met up with him in an old watchtower across the fort and gave Bayek details of his target and requested him to rescue a fellow Hidden One in the fort.^[1] Sometime after the Hidden Ones' local bureau in Klysma Nome was destroyed, Maqwat and the rest of the Hidden Ones moved to a cave in the Arsinoe Nome.^[2]
