*'''Yasukane:''' ''I watched you sleep, oh great samurai, sir. To make sure you were okay.''

*'''Rufino:''' ''So, how are you feeling, my friend?''
*'''Yasuke:''' ''Like I have been... trampled by a pack of wild horses...''
[] | |||
*'''Yasuke:''' ''Help me up.''

*'''Rufino:''' ''Easy now - I don't want Tomiko to scream at me if your bandages come undone...''

*'''Naoe:''' ''Let me get this straight, you just told them exactly what they wanted to know? Had I known you two morons would turn on your allies that easily, you would still be living with the macaques of Wakasa!''

*'''Naoe:''' ''You're awake!''

*'''Naoe:''' ''How are you standing? I was certain you were done for...''
*'''Yasuke:''' ''You should know by now - I am very hard to kill.''
*'''Rufino:''' ''What did our stall shovelers do this time?''
*'''Naoe:''' ''They really got Yasuke killed - that's what.''
*'''Yasuke:''' ''Me? How?''
*'''Naoe:''' ''They told those Black Cross about the ornament of the glyphs - and who they gave it to.''
*'''Yasukane:''' ''It was Kinu's fault!''
*'''Kinu:''' ''What!?''
*'''Yasukane:''' ''He liked those carvings so much, he offered them some riddle scrolls!''
*'''Kinu:''' ''I... I had never seen an elephant before...''
*'''Yasuke:''' ''The ornament of the glyphs - they took it from me. Perhaps the mysterious door is what they were after all along.''
*'''Rufino:''' ''That would make sense...''
[] | |||
*'''Rufino:''' ''The people I used to work for.''
*'''Naoe:''' ''The Templars.''
*'''Rufino:''' ''Yes, the Templars. They are always searching for lost places, temples and the like. They believe such places hold powerful, almost magical, relics.''
*'''Yasuke:''' ''Like the story of the Holy Grail.''
*'''Rufino:''' ''Yes. Yes! Exactly like the Holy Grail.''
*'''Kinu:''' ''What's a grail?''
*'''Kane:''' ''It's a kind of bird. Shut up.''
*'''Naoe:''' ''We did find some strange objects behind that door... Could it be what they want?''
*'''Yasuke:''' ''Maybe... Or maybe we missed something?''
*'''Naoe:''' ''Worth having another look.''
*'''Yasuke:''' ''Hm. Not without the ornament.''
*'''Rufino:''' ''Whatever they're after, it's behind that door.''
*'''Naoe:''' ''Then I'll head there to investigate.''
*'''Yasuke:''' ''Naoe, wait. Defeating just one of them was nearly too much for me... The two of them together...''
*'''Naoe:''' ''We can't allow them to get what they're after.''
[] | |||
*'''Yasuke:''' Irmão, posso confiar em ti para protegê-la com a tua vida? ''(Brother, can I trust you to protect her with your life?)''

*'''Naoe:''' ''Did you ask him to babysit me?''
*'''Rufino:''' ''What? No. No! Yasuke promised that he would stay here and recover.''
*'''Naoe:''' ''You did ask him to babysit me!''
*'''Rufino:''' ''i'm not doing it for you. I swore to strike back at the Templars for what they did to Ermigo.''
*'''Naoe:''' ''Let's send these Templars back to the ocean that spawned them.''
*'''Rufino:''' ''Yasuke, rest well. I will scout ahead. Join me in Wakasa, Naoe.''
[] | |||
*'''Yasukane:''' ''Master Rufino, sir - should we not come and help you?''
*'''Rufino:''' ''That won't be necessary, gentlemen.''
*'''Kinu:''' ''Why not? We know how to kick and how to choke - we can help!''
*'''Rufino:''' ''You can help by keeping Yasuke in bed.''
[] | |||
*'''Naoe:''' ''Come on, say it.''
*'''Yasuke:''' ''Promise me you will not face them alone.''
*'''Naoe:''' ''If I see an opening, I'm taking their lives... But I promise to be careful. Is that good enough?''

*'''Nirmala:''' ''Worthless trash!''

*'''Eamon:''' ''I've seen this before... This is one of her clever tricks.''

*'''Naoe:''' [silently] ''Marrakesh?''

*'''Nirmala:''' ''Remind me.''
*'''Eamon:''' ''There was a vault, not unlike this one. She found it first, of course, and filled it with items from every corner of the world. She even left a battle axe imbued with their powers.''
*'''Nirmala:''' ''Of all people, why would she leave Pieces of Eden behind?''
*'''Eamon:''' ''Because they're hollowed-out husks, all but stripped of their original powers. You see, she leaves behind just enough so-called 'treasures' to sate the appetite of greedy fools. When in fact...''

*'''Nirmala:''' ''You hadn't told me about Marrakesh; I would have remembered...''
*'''Eamon:''' ''Don't forget it, Nirmala.''
[] | |||
*'''Naoe:''' ''A hidden entrance...''
*'''Rufino:''' ''Wait. You saw what they did to Yasuke.''
*'''Naoe:''' ''I also remember what they did to your friend Ermigo. People like them never stop unless someone steps in. Today, it's you and me, friend.''
*'''Rufino:''' ''Naoe. Naoe?!'' (groans)

Buried Secrets was a virtual representation of one of Fujibayashi Naoe and Yasuke's genetic memories, relived through the Animus EGO.[1]
Description
With Yasuke out of commission, Naoe and Rufino tracked down the Black Crosses to a cave entrance in Wakasa.
Outcome
Yasuke, Naoe, and Rufino defeated the two Black Crosses, uncovered one of the pillars of the world, and sealed the cave, preventing the Templars from ever reaching it again.
