The Peasant Who Would Be King was a virtual representation of one of Fujibayashi Naoe and Yasuke's genetic memories, relived through the Animus EGO.[1]
Description
Yasuke and Naoe meet with Lady Nene to plan their next move.
Dialogue
- Lady Nene: You have returned.
- Yasuke: My lady.
- Lady Nene: Your visit can mean only one thing. The Shinbakufu?
- Yasuke: One remains. Mitsuhide.
- Lady Nene: You honor Lord Nobunaga. As he would have wanted.
- Yasuke: Thank you, my lady.
- Lady Nene: Mitsuhide has gathered his forces in Shoryuji Castle. I hope he fears what is coming. Vengeance.
- Yasuke: Lord Nobunaga wanted to unify the land. Mitsuhide wants to subjugate it. The people deserve justice.
- Lady Nene: Then press forth and execute justice. As we speak, Lord Hideyoshi is readying his forces near Shoryuji Castle. This battle will shape the country for generations. If Lord Hideyoshi triumphs, we enter a new age.
- Naoe: With your husband in power.
