Silica were glass fragments found in and near tombs and pyramids across Egypt.

While used as a decorative ornament, they possessed an "eerie feeling", and were primarily collected and used by the Medjay Bayek of Siwa to activate pedestals in various Isu vaults connected to certain tombs in the country. Khaliset also gathered them, believing them to help her resurrect her daughter, Eshe.
