Horizon was a virtual representation of The Guide's interference in an Animus EGO user's session of reliving Fujibayashi Naoe and Yasuke's genetic memories.[1]

The Eagle returned to the user with more information on the Guide and its gift.
Outcome
The Guide sacrificed itself in order to compromised Ego's Animus.
