Royce is a member of the Assassin Brotherhood based in Chicago.
Biography[edit | edit source]
In 2016, Royce rescued young thief Inez from her last job at a guarded facility.[1] Driving away in his getaway car, he introduced himself to Inez and explained her lineage being of importance to both the Assassins and the Templars. Together, with Inez's agreement, he took her to meet the rest of his cell in a secret location.[2] Overseeing Inez, he watched and noted her health while she had her first time in the Animus reliving Jacob Frye's genetic memories. Fortunately, he took her out of the simulation before her heart rate increased further.[3]
Afterwards, Royce, along with Inez, Iowa, and Junko, found their way to another hideout to ready and arm themselves on their upcoming mission.[4] Later, on another mission, he, Inez, Reiko, and Iowa, were caught in a gunfight with the Templars. Although Inez was injured, Royce was nearly killed until Inez fired a "Hail Mary" at his would-be killer before escaping.[5] Later, at an American Civil War cemetery, they all discovered a Piece of Eden from an old wooden casket.[6]
