Atlantis as seen from its entrance

Atlantis was an ancient Isu city whose remains were situated at the bottom of the Aegean Sea, beneath the island of Thera, Greece.

Prior to its destruction, the city was ruled by the Poseidon.

Description

The Greek philosopher Pythagoras compared Atlantis' function to that of a library, containing all of the knowledge of the Isu; including their physiology, scientific advancements, historical knowledge, culture, and beliefs.

History

During the Isu Era, the city was ruled by Poseidon, with his sons ruling parts of the city. Poseidon, adopting a cycle system, would destroy and rebuild the city every seven years if he judged it to be imperfect. He also outlawed the use of Isu devices on the city's human residents.[1]

Around the year 429 BCE, the Gateway to the Lost City, which connected Atlantis to the surface world, was visited by the Spartan misthios Kassandra. There, she discovered her biological father, Pythagoras, along with the Staff of Hermes, which had kept him alive for a very long time.[2] Together, they used the Atlantis artifacts to seal the entrance to the city.[3]

A simulated version of the city was later visited by Kassandra to help her master the Staff.[4]
