Inner Sanctum of the Templar Order(Revamp)

"The human body has its heart. The Earth has its core. All things have a center, whence comes their deepest strength. The Templar Order, too, has its Inner Sanctum. Nine there must be, three times three."
―Alan Rikkin during Simon Hathaway's induction, 2016.[src]

The Ritual Garbs

During Simon Hathaway's initiation into the Inner Sanctum of the Templar Order, he noted that the ritual garb had been made by hand and not machines, ranging from the sheep being hand-sheared and the wool carded, spun and dyed by human labor.[1]

This showed the Templar's ritual garbs were much like those worn by Templars across the centuries, which Simon, as a historian, valued and admired, due to the Templars putting in effort towards genuine authenticity.[1]

Lieutenant is a leadership rank that is Second-in-Command to the Grand Master of the Templar Order, alongside Master Templars as Templar leaders of Templar Rites. Its predecessor was Second-in-Command to the Grand Maegester of the Ancients, being one of five Maegesters.

Being part of a Rite leadership, their role under their Grand Master is to uphold the Templar principles while they assisted in leading the Rite to guide humanity for the betterment of society in their aim for peace.

The earliest known individual with the rank of Lieutenant was held by the Ancients Fulke of the Wardens of Relics sect, under Grand Maegester Alfred of Wessex during the Viking expansion of England.

The only known Templars that had the rank of Lieutenant was during the Age of Enlightenment, as the Parisian Rite had three different individuals that served as Lieutenant to the House of Serre, a Templar family who had held the rank of Grand Master for several decades.

For example, François de la Serre, who approved that Lieutenant Julie de la Serre and the British Templar Frederick Weatherall could conduct the training of swordsmanship to their daughter, Élise de la Serre. While François himself gave her the education of the Templars and their principles.[2]
