Ullr's Aim

Ullr was an Æsir in Norse mythology, associated as a god of archery.

Legacy and influence[edit | edit source]

Ullr had a totem named after him in the popular dice game Orlog, played during the 9th century. The piece "Ullr's Aim" would ignore a number of the opponent's shield die and allow the player to inflict damage to their life points. A Norse man in the longhouse used by jarlskona Soma and the Great Summer Army in Grantebridge, Grantebridgescire possessed the piece, which he gave to the Viking shieldmaiden Eivor Varinsdottir of the Raven Clan after being defeated.[1]

Behind the scenes[edit | edit source]

Ullr is only mentioned in Assassin's Creed: Valhalla in the form of an Orlog piece, an armor set, and in a note found in Asgard [citation needed] that names him as a stepson of Thor by way of his mother's marriage.
