Order of the Storm
The Order of the Storm was a branch of the Persian Order of the Ancients operating in Achaia, Greece, during the Peloponnesian War.
History[edit | edit source]
Led by the Magus Phila, the branch was based in Patrai and was tasked to patrol the Ionian Sea to stop Darius and his son Natakas from escaping Greece. To this end, it formed a naval blockade of Achaia, preventing refugees from leaving Greece and escaping the Peloponnesian War.[1]
Around this time, the branch worked with the Cult of Kosmos, who shared a similar target in the misthios Kassandra, whom the Order viewed as a "Tainted One". In this capacity, Cultist guards were employed by the Order to deal with Kassandra, though during the 420s BCE, the misthios, with the aid of Darius and Natakas, hunted down all members of the Order of the Storm, thereby dismantling the branch.[1]
