The Overlap was a virtual representation of one of Fujibayashi Naoe and Yasuke's genetic memories, relived through the Animus EGO.^[1]

Naoe and Yasuke must find a way out of this nightmare.

After an altercation with an oni, Naoe and Yasuke find themselves back at Akashi.
